Baya Elementary School Celebrated Brigada Eskwela with a Community-Wide Effort

The vibrant streets of Ragay, Camarines Sur came alive on June 9th, 2025, as a colorful community parade kick off the annual Brigada Eskwela. The spectacle, a testament to the district collective commitment to education, showcased the unified spirit of elementary and high school students, teachers, parents and community members. The parade a prelude to a day of dedicated service, snaked its way through the district. culminating in a series of focused improvement project at each school within Ragay District 1 


The morning sun shone brightly on the enthusiastic participation at the parade commenced. Student and teachers from both elementary and secondary marched proudly, carrying banners and displaying their school spirit. Parents, Teachers, different organization private and public, other stakeholders walked alongside, their faces reflecting pride and anticipation for the day's work The atmosphere was invigorating with palpable sense of community and shared purpose. The parade served not only as a vibrant opening but also as a powerful symbol of unity, bringing together the entire district in a shared endeavor to improve their school.











The day's activities were not limited to physical improvements. Brigada Eskwela also provided as invaluable opportunity for community building and strengthening relationships. Parents interacted with teachers, students connected with community leaders, and everyone shared a common goal = to make their schools better. This interaction fostered a stronger sense of collective responsibility for the education of the children. 




The annual Brigada Eskwela at Baya Elementary School was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative spirit of the community and the generous contributions of several individuals. Parents, teachers and students worked tirelessly to clean, repair, and beautify the school grounds. The hard work was rewarded with a delicious free lunch sponsored by birthday celebrator Maciste Jerome M. Jarabejo. The menu featured savory chop suey and igado, complemented by refreshing soft drinks. For the dessert, Teacher Lealyn M. Miranda generosity provided everyone with delightful ice cream, adding sweet ending to a productive and heartwarming day. The event showcased the power of community unity in supporting education.
