NARRATIVE REPORT ON CHILD-FRIENDLY SCHOOL

School Year 2024-2025

 

            Every child deserves to attend the safe school where everyone is treated with respect. As we know, school is one of the most significant institutions in the life of every person because this is where we take our first steps to build world from. A school can make a huge influence on every person depending on the circumstances.

            Generally, teachers are highly responsible for creating a good atmosphere in class, where no single child will feel left out and all of them will thrive for new knowledge. Being aware of basic child psychology is important for teachers, because they are the figures that kids look up to, and they should be good role models for them.

            Baya Elementary School showcases a school system that genuinely and sincerely strives for excellent education with great seriousness and professional outlook. Our school head, Ms. Alma C. Aguirre always gives comforting assurances about quality education. Coping with all these challenges and opportunities, competent teachers work together towards quality education beyond excellence. The concluded WASH FRIENDLY SCHOOL PROGRAM had the following objectives: (1) provided sustainable, child friendly environment and hand washing facilities and adequate safe drinking water; (2) Offered hygiene education on using WASH in school facilities, washing hands with soap and drinking safe water and (3) Organized school to home and community outreach activities for improved WASH in school program and activities. With this, school should always let the children continue to grow and to change in amazing ways as they move into higher level of their personality and become a productive individual in society.

            The above objectives were attained through:

1. Stakeholder’s Best Practices on Child Friendly, Reward System Program during the schools’ Annual Family Date celebration.

2. Best Practices on Child Friendly Through Strict Implementation of health Protocol elaborated in compliance to waste segregation.

 

3. Teachers led in the Conduct Daily Routine of Child Friendly Activities for CORE Values  Practices-Makatao, Makabansa, Makabayan and Mka-Diyos

 

 

 

 

4. Teacher Conduct Learning Enrichment through Positive Discipline In Everyday Teaching in the Literacy and Numeracy interventions.

 

 

 

5. School Enhance children’s health and well-being through the supplementary feeding sponsored by parents,other stakeholders and class adviser making use of the school produce from the Gulayan sa Paaralan.

 

 

 

 

6. School Ensure Children’s high Academic achievement and Success

 

 

 

7.School raises Teacher’s morale and motivation by sending its personnel to training workshop and the like.

 

 

 

8.School mobilize community support for education by tapping its stakeholders for assistance in any favor.

 

 

           

 

 

9. SPTA supports construction of concrete fences to safeguard eroding slopes along patways in the school campus.
