  1. " Dapat ang master teachers being assigned in salary grade equal or higher from their school heads shall be given responsibilities as immediate deputy school heads in schools where they are assigned. In line with this, at least a maximum of two master teachers one senior and the other next to senior shall only be assigned in one school. " for recommendation

I am not a teacher but I work in the Department of Education - Division Office and I myself can see kung gaano kahirap maging master teacher especially sa mga big schools. kung madali naman po pala maging master teacher sainyo, why not apply? para hindi po kayo nagrereklamo regarding sa difference ng mga sahod ninyo. Yun lang po.

I agree with you...Correct ka dyan...Dont they know na there are head teachers or school principals na inaasa ang kanilang work sa master teachers.. pirma na lng sila...hmmm for those MT's who are promoted na others co- teachers can attest that he/she does't deserve it..at hindi authentic ang papers...yes, mahirap magmention kay base on papers qualified but not in their performance..people around can tell...

Aba eh malamang! It just shows na pinaghirapan nila kung bakit sila MT ngayon.

  3. I just want to comment about the selection of a Master teacher. Everybody has the right to fill in the said position so the head teacher in that particular department should be fair, she must practice the value of sportsmanship and not to make an act of favoritism. I am one of those strongly bullied by my head teacher because of this matter, she has the strong desire to thrash me out from that position. i feel somewhat depressed

  4. Do we DepEd orders or memos regarding the duties and responsibilities of mater teachers?

    2. "walang master teacher na walang alam. mayroon at mayroon yan di nya mailabas dahil di naman binibigyan pansin ng ibang heads ang nagagawang kabutihan. mayroon apple of the eye kaya di nakikita ang nagagawa."

      - I agree to what this person said. Ang mali po kasi sa mga baguhang teacher like maybe yourself, is that, mas magaling kayo sa technology kaysa sa mga Master Teachers who are obviously older than you. And so you think na wala silang alam. Making YOU further think, na mas magaling kayo sakanila. But then, you forget, that they have greater experience than you are.

If you think you are much better than them, one word lang yan teacher.

      APPLY.

I believe school head will be happy for his people working well afterall, he will be the one to harvest the achievements

  8. para sa akin, hindi na dapat humawak ng advisory class ang isang master teacher dahil iisang klase ang magagabayan niya when it should be one to two grade levels ang masupervise niya at magawan ng magandang instructional materials at mamonitor ang improvement.

    1. I strongly agree.how can an MT perform his/her duties and responsibilities when he/she has 5 teaching loads plus an advisory class to attend to. Deped Memo no. 39 s. 2009 says an MT shall have at least 4 teaching loads plus special assignments such as research...

  9. Master Teachers by virtue of educational performances are believed to be the BEST Teachers to handle REMEDIATION CLASSES to NON-READERS in any Elementary Schools in the Philippines to attain a ZERO NON-READER performances of all Elementary Schools.Thereby a DepEd Memo for this purpose must be made so that the declining educational system must be dealt with accordingly.

  10. Why is it that in the master teacher position applicant are not being evaluated of their educational qualification since they are part instructional leader in school aside the principal. How come the DepEd order 66, s. 2007 if you are inspiring to be promoted to T2 from T1 or T3 position from T2 position the educational qualification is very much relevant since it part of the criteria being given points. Very ironic that the master teachers as one of the instructional leader at school don't even completed their academic requirements in the Masters degree but in fact some of the Teachers 1, 2, and T3 are already completed the Masters and Doctors degree courses. Ha ha ha ha.... and now the Deped will distinguished them as one of the instructional leader. "Very Funny" truly we have a dismal educational system!!!! pls. weak-up Sec. Luistro!

  11. Agree.... there's disprepancies of ranking & promotion evaluation in the public school system..Here is a case of a .t-3 teafcher has been completed ed d program and submitted papers for MT-1...what is ironical her name listed for ranking was not included in the official list without written explanation given in the memo ...then later issued a memo of the inclusion of her name....unfortunately, was ranked very low as compare to those without CAR in Master and Doctoral program... so sad ...once duties applied in school "wendang" na...at the end i-depend ang trabaho sa nagkapag-aral...very incompetent...Ranking and Promotion should be reviewed thoroughly so as an effective/efficient performance be expected for the qualified applicants...... sayang ang malaking sweldo tinatanggap nila...d naman effective sa role nya...
